Highlights 2008 (I'm still in the 2008 timing)

First up was Zonals, it really felt great to play once again as my pure batch alone, though the team number declined terribly. But that month was a rocky one for me- Chinese results, building unhappiness and severe conflicts with Isabel, training was horrible though Belle and I managed to put our differences aside and play our all during the matches. We left the court each time, thankful that we didn't decide to split partnering after all. East zone was definitely fun, with long bus rides with team, talking, cheering and just playing a fool. The whole event was bittersweet, but there wouldn't be this kinda experience for me anymore, I daresay.

As I typed about all these right now, it doesn't feel as if they happened this year. We've really been just studying like mad after this, and it was just a plain boring year except for some spices added here and there.







Going up to top 4 was a crushing moment for all of us, after getting in with all nice scores of 5-0. We finally saw what the real standard was, and it seemed like we've all been living in our own fabricated fantasy. Many of us crumbled as the awful reality hit us severely. But this match was the best I've ever done, and every detail is still etched in my mind. Unforgettable. Going in and taking the head start, although we already lost overall. I was determined not going to let us past this match giving the opponent any chance to laugh at how lousy we are. So with whatever strokes I had, I whacked! And must be the attraction, Belle and my chemistry was simply awesome! We got on the same frequency and we both took turns to whack! The score got closer and closer, I had to keep on telling myself not to lose focus, or lose it all. 17 -18.. 18-19... My brain was actually fluttering like mad although I had to put up a calm front. I know our opponent lost theirs when we saw them quarrelling.. So we just shout and intimidate them more whenever we won a point. The taste of victory never been so sweet. :}

Midyears and prelims came right after and studying took center stage of my life. So many promises were made to have outings after O levels, but so many unfulfilled. This holiday is really an eyeopener to my true friends, and those whom I know will bother to stay in contact with me. I shall look forward to 2009 with much expectancy! I don't think I have any problems making new friends and humans will all adapt to their new environment. Hahahahahahahaha. Goodies!  ¶ 10:37 PM 0 Comments

  heyyyy Although I have work tomorrow and it's 1.29am now, here I am! Life's been fun with working and meeting new colleagues, though I try my best to not neglect my priorities and friendships... Fuseng's here and gone by tomorrow, and I went roller blading with him just now at ECP, and he fell like 10 over times(not exxagerating!), so you can imagine how hard I laughed till my eyes popped out. That aside, activities are still filling my schedules like mad, and I sure have some of the pictures to post..
