  The sun sets
My holiday is eggtremely happening! :D

Started my holiday morning running with leeying from my house to school to wish Andrea and rest of peeps taking O level chinese. We took 20mins! :D Early morning life of the world is still the same even though it's the holidays for us. The hill I swear was toughest manzz.. We ran till the sun came out and I was still afraid it wouldn't because I saw streaks of lightning while running. So we went up to school for a while, and continued our journey at 8, this time running the bedok park connector way. I don't like running along the roadside because all the air pollution and dust and dirt just isn't too good for health, but it wasn't that bad I realised. We reached my house in 20mins, again! Felt super accomplished and refreshed because we didn't stop to walk! But my leg did hurt alot after that and I think I should not delay getting a new pair of shoes.

25 more days to mid years lovelies.

When you look me in the eyes.

I like this picture.

I like holidays. I keep life the pace I want, and I don't have to answer to anyone my whereabouts. This holiday especially, I don't have busy handphone ringing at ungodly hour asking details about meetings/rehearsals, or irritating alarms at the early hours of the day. This is the first holiday in my four years of secondary school life, that I don't have to prepare for endless camps and go back to school for 3times a week trainings. I don't know if I can call this feeling "miss". It's not about missing, but more about an absence of these in my life. When I'm busy up to my neck, I wish for a time to relax, yet unknowningly I've grown accustomed to a busy life. It feels strange now, but I can't put a finger to what I'm actually feeling.

I wasn't studying for my exams at this period of time last year. I was packed almost every week till schools starts again and I had alot of difficulties trying to squeeze time to go chill out with friends from my oh-so-busy schedule. Now I grasp this holiday so freely I have no idea what to do with it, hahaha.

Last week of school was like a 2day school for me, it feels like I've been out of contact with alot of my friends. We changed seating arrangement, and I'm pushed to the corner, I don't like it and I think my degree went up. But I still got Andrea, Beloved and Xin with me so I guess it's okay. I'm sitting in front of Fuseng too! I like Fu seng :) Friday with brenda was great, we studied for 5hours, celebrated our 22th month at cafe cartel, felt guilty for eating so much, and randomly went for a run 5 rounds around my park in the night. This is so happening! I'm going to make sure I spent this holiday balanced like friday night. I need to rush off for class now!

See you soon!

  Irritating, Irritating.

I overslept and woke up at 830, feeling guilty for I missed the auspicious hour to log into my account for online E learning. Despite wanting to sleep so badly, I pulled myself out of the bed, washed up, and turned on the computer. E learning was quite convenient I thought,

Not until the time I came online, and everyone asked if I could get into ACP. Of course, I couldn't, I have not even tried. Now, it had been half an hour since my page in anglican portal had any signs of changes, and it's luring me to sleep... Yawnsssssssssss

Everyone's so distracted now, and while the rest go to vivawa, american idol, and whatnots, I deserve my fair share of sleep. Shall try again later.

  Pocketful of sunshine

A mother's love is always true.
A mother's love never fails.
A mother's love is always there.

I supposed this year's mother's day was the best for my mum. :D
I love my family!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm so sick of studying studying and studying! My whole sleeping timetable is badly messed up and I've been a walking zombie for the past week. Poor me, aww. While shopping for mother's day gift, I found out that GSS is on!!!!! It really sets my shopping hormones kicking in, I need to just go out and enjoy hours of changing in and out of clothes, and admiring nice items. I've not been watching the tv so I guess a day out to enjoy is fine, yeah it is, it is.

School's been talking about JC's admission and preparing many talks for us to help us, and as much as I don't like to think about it, I'm always brought to a situation where I have to consider about my future, what I really really want. Sometimes I'm really a wimp at making big desicions for myself. What's the big deal right? You like something, go for it! But that's the deal, what happens next when you work hard and don't get it? Or if you worked so hard, and realised it's not your calling? I know everything will fall nicely eventually, so that's why I'm not bothering. Well, life's a big big conflict.

During chinese, Tanlaoshi talked about being able to take things at your stride. It's actually good to be presented with challenges occasionally to build up your resilience. Tough time don't last but tough guys do :D She told us a true story about this RJ boy, who was really good in his studies, always the top few in class, and went on a scholarship to University. He was outstanding in his studies, and always proved to be the envy of many. He did well in year 1, but in year 2, things didn't go well for him. Having failed one subject(probably the only test he'd ever failed), his confidence dived down to rock bottom. He did mentioned to his parents about his concern of not being able to sustain the scholarship and his parents were supportive of him still, yet, he failed to overcome himself. On the second day of the release of results, he jumped down from the 16th story.

A boy, man I should say, with so much potential, with so many talents, because of a setback, gone forever.. So wasted, isnt it. I don't know where I'm going at, but I think it's essential to take a stock check of our lives everyday. I understand how difficult it is to pull yourself up when you fail, yet sometimes all you need is to take a step back and understand that setbacks are meant to strengthen us, not to crush us.

月盈则亏, 水满则溢
I like this phrase alot. It reminds me that no one is perfect, no one will remain top all the time, and even the best can fall down. So just do your best, and God will do the rest :}

  Tear drop
Hi self,
I know you've
stretched yourself to your
maximum potential and I know
you're absolutely not contented with
the results you've attained. In your constant
struggle to make everything right, you instead
had everything in disarray. Perhaps it's time to
refocus, and realise that it's not solely by your
strength but by God's grace. Without Him, you're
nothing. Without Him, you cannot. Without you,
He will not. Remember that God always
makes everything okay in the end.
Doesn’t He?Love, me.

  Sweetheart :D
Error: Pictures overload on Seet Shi Mei's birthday!!!!!

.Zhuting____ Isabel______ Grace______ Alicia_____ Andrea .

It was seriously good eating without restrictions. But I had no competitor so no motivation to eat much. Alicia wasn't keen on Japanese food thus the small appetite. The legendary Andrea wasn't on form, and for the first time, food didn't appeal to her. I think she was much more concerned about downing another New York New York meal with her family later. But I still enjoyed the delicacies.

Look at Aliciaaaaaaa!

( The place was rather small, and quiet, so we had to keep our actions and voices at minimum level, pardon us for the lack of creativity and constant angle for pose, hahaha. )

Gorgeous Grace.

Collaborated with the netballers to surprise her after the buffet. Silly girl was still so upset early on when it seems like the netballers weren't planning to celebrate her birthday during recess. Turned out very well! She didn't even suspect anything at all!

A for Andrea
& Alicia!

DONE! The uploading of pictures alone drove me mad, but pictures speaks a thousand words. So much easier to scroll down looking at the pictures then reading tiny bits of letters, right? I'm sure my dearest friend enjoyed her birthday thoroughly. Much much exceeded that happiness meter :D
Birthday girl learns to be independent!I've been thinking alot lately, during my quiet moments. Trying to see things in a broader manner, and to convince myself that there are better things out there for me to do. I can keep myself occupied all day, but when the night falls, I just couldn't control.. Ghelps!

  When you..
Labour day, as quoted from the newspaper, is "mother's day to workers". I defined it as a day for labour though, well. :/ But anyway, I had fun! Besides waking up at 8 just to study math and getting burned out after a few hours, I guessed it was still a rather relaxing day for me.

Met Bel Boobs and Aziel on the train at 515 in tampines, when we were supposed to meet the rest at 530 at city hall. Just in case you all assume it's me, hahaha, I was finally the early one! We weren't the latest even still, and we took quite long deciding on where to eat. As everyone assumed that Keane has already planned "somewhere fabulous" and made it sounded so secretive, we all went along the flow. Guess where's somewhere fabulous :D

Pizza delivery at Clarke Quay! It was such a fantabulous plan that no one agreed to the idea.. Hahaha. We went Nydc in the end and took the whole row of tables. Wanted to buy the cake there as it was really mouth watering but we were all full from our main courses. It was nice eating in such a big group again, I miss. Made quite alot of noise as a big group of people would be allowed to, but I think we've became indifferent to stares!

Took an hour or so to decide to watch movie/go home/go clarke quay and that made several of us highly strung. Went with the flow to watch "over my dead body" but guilt overwhelmed me when I realised some of them were going home to study for math test so I backed out, left with Amelia, Ka Hwee and Pan. And then, on the way back, we met the group again. The movie wasn't on air so they were going to Clarke Quay. And somehow, we just joined back HAHA. (Y) (Y)!

Played stupid games like who what huh? / 7-up. 7-up is still the best bonding game for us, played since chiang rai days.. We came up with dares and made the losers in 3consecutives run go in front of the massive crowd and dance! Boobs and Aziel was sporting, they danced deep down in my heart, while we sang it for them. Meiwei, Mingjun, and Aziel(2 biggest losers for the day) went again and did zao cao, admire their bravery, for even from the audience seat, singing for them was quite embarrassing!

Night had to end, because there was schoolzzz.
It was fun playing the yawning game with Amelia, Pan and Brenda. We just tried to open our mouths and cultivate a yawn and our expressions were priceless!

When God gives us problems, He gives us solutions too. (:
