  Disillusioned
Tournaments are going to be after chinese new year! All the best for all the sports group whose tournament started last week! Our groupings are good, and finally one year without meeting tampines! Means much more to get back our touch and feel~

We're all getting used to sheng jiao lian's training. She focus more on quality than quantity, like doing bu fas, although it's little in a set compared to zhou, but it made sure that we all put in our all to finish that set. Mentally tiring, but it sure feels good :) Yesterday's training was 5hours long, and although we were all drained-out, we jusst keep on pushing ourselves! Training, matches, gym, and then 10min run!

Many changes have occured in council/school, and after so long, I still do not really know where I stand as a councillor. Accepting what we cannot change since we can't change what we cannnot accept. Afterall, change is the only thing constant in this life!

For a thought. Think about your bestfriend. And think of something about her that irritates you. Can you think of something? Now think of more things that you don't like- the way she talks, the way her moodswings, perhaps she's always late, or maybe she's abit of arrogant at times. Can you think of some more things? In an hour you might think of ten things you don't like about her. In a week you might even think of a hundred things. Eventually you might decide that you never want to see her again! Scary?

Now look at the flip side. Think of what you really like about her. Recall how she makes you laugh, how you really can be youself with her. What makes it special to be with her? Think of all the good times you have shared.

Now you are feeling totally different about your friends. But has she changed? No, you did. You changed your focus.

We all have loads of faults. Anyone can find faults in other people. When you look for good things in people, you find good things. When you look for faults, you find faults. The key to my friendships should be concentrating on other people's qualities. Yeahhh baby! ;D

283 MORE DAYS TO O LEVELS.
What a stupid way of starting my blog entry, haha. It took me 10 days to come back to my blog again. School has returned to normal, tests almost everyday, and lesson per normal. Surviving well, but really tiring.

I've found another way to cope with fatigue during school days. It wasn't fun and thrilling falling asleep while studying for tests at night and sit for them the next day with half loaded information. Yes, so I've decided to bathe and sleep directly after I come home and then wake up at the middle of the cooling night to study. It's good. It took me awhile to explain the logic behind sleeping first to myself and let me try explaining my idea to you.

When I just reached home, my fatigue is probably 50%. And if I insist to stay up and do my work, I'd probably reach 100% fatigue at 1opm. I'd plan to take a short nap and wake up maybe one hour later or so. When I actually did, I couldn't pull myself out of bed because my body over mind would refuse to get up. I'd still have another 50% of fatigue to sleep off and that would probably equate to me waking up the next morning.

But if I choose to sleep after I reached home, I'd repay the 50% fatigue first and be 100% refreshed! Wow, isn't that cool!!

Well, other than a few new subject teachers, new coach, new timetable, new discipline master, new council/functions/PA teacher in charge, I guessed everything remained. I like it. I hate changes because I don't like to re- adapt to surroundings and people again especially when I just got close to them. 3 tests so far this week, and I have no homework for this weekend! It has been ages since I felt so relax, so I'm rewarding myself some movies today, hahaha. I'm going to cut down on all my taiwanese/korean soap operas until O levels end and I believe I have the self discipline to resist it, (like how I abstained from the computer!) ^^

So now, it's a friday, school ends at 1230, I'm supposed to be at training but main hall is currently at use for CCA orientation and our wonderfool badminton funds does not have what it takes to get us courts outside for trainings. And our tournament is next week! Gym sessions have been canceled too because of upcoming competitions. I really hope we get good fixtures, and probably not meet Tampines ferocious beast!

By the way, I'm at Andrea's house now and going to catch some movies I missed during the whole of last year. I'm going to be the first to try out her baked pasta! :D

  First post of 2008
I was reading back my 1/1/2007 archive post, and it talks about my wonderful memories in 2006. I've actually forgotten some, but reading it refreshes my memory and everything seems so yesterday. I am sure that 2006 was very good, 2007 was even better and now 2008, it'd go another step higher :D

Last year had been a pleasant one for me. I remember everything so vividly, and I'm grateful it happened to me. So many new friends made, so many friendships that went deeper, some that lost touch with.. It makes me nostalgic to think, I can't imagine going to school tomorrow not seeing the seniors anymore, but I shall still embrace 2008 with wide open arms!

Outward Bound School was really one of a kind. Going through a tough 5 days with total strangers and forcing you to trust people more, coming out of your own comfort zones, putting others before you, and learning to appreciate people's talents and discover my own. Sometimes, I really wish marco polo could go back to the tough times in OBS and rely on each other for strength and encouragements to continue each day.

AHS CIP`07 in Chiang Rai was another good thing that happened. 10 days of no technology life and low living conditions. Working but leading a stress free life just talking to friends, playing with the villagers, teaching the kids.. Made so many new friends, and OYNY is lovable and fun! I really miss chiangrai now! Totally great experience!

Being the PA head and working with Mingjun as boobs. What a combination. Being overwhelmed by situations and too worked up to think properly, I trust he'd cool me down. Learnt to give and take, to appreciate, help each other out and to sacrifice. As time passes, started talking and understanding my batch, everything-farewells,rehearsals,concerts,outings,tough times emerged to a true friendship and I definitely know they are one group I can turn into when things go wrong for me.

Being the Functions Vice and having so many under me. Rising up to the role of being a leader of 25 members. Working and trusting. Had to have good time management and work management. Many times being tored apart between PA and Functions work, guilty for neglecting functions most of the time but felt so loved and cared for everytime the juniors spring on surprise messages for me telling me how much they love me and to go on all the way cause they've got my back!

Being in Exco and talking more to people like Elissa, Graci, Kahwee, Tenghui.... Organising things as a batch, sorting differences out.. Investiture, Prom Night, Bonding camp, Farewell, Orientation... Learnt to cope with stress, but most of the time, lost to it. Although.. (I should stop here)

Being in 3A and knowing my classmates. Wonderful bunch of people even though most people call our class gay! Outcasted on the level alone but happy and contented. Making new friends and eating recess together, going out together, chalets, studying for exams.. I promise I'd not waste this last year together away and I'm going to start talking to those I haven't been talking to much! I hope I get back the same teachers too, for they are the best one could ever get, except, I really hope to have someone who can keep me more engage in english... I have to thank all my teachers for bringing me through last year, and showering all their love and patience over us, guiding us through each day in 2007.

Being in badminton with my wonderful team mates! Being through so much together and so much much much to say. Holiday trainings seriously brings us closer. Trainings have been great, and all our taste of food became more high class. In 2006, our team lunch were still at simpang, now billy bombers??? Big Leap. We've all been waiting for 2008 East Zones! Nationals top 4? Bring it on! We'd do our best in every matches we play. Seniors I met, Juniors I met, coach we once had, how to forget?

Being in City Harvest is certaintly the blast! Gone through so much God has put me into, gained so much and learnt to rely so much on Him. His Grace is sufficient :) Last year, faith in me grew exponentially, for the things He promised and really did for me, like my results, commitments and all. I remember crying and crying then when I couldnt get things right or finish studying for my tests or what, but as I look back, all turned out fine. Everything wouldn't have been possible, and this year, I'm gonna to commit everything I do into my Abba Father's hand again! :D

Thank You all for the wonderful memories, and you know who you are ;)

When God gives us problems, He gives us solutions too. (:
